See all CDA members, these HPDs can be used for their products.

Critical to green and healthy building: The need to build structures that are healthy for occupants and that use less electricity and water makes copper the top material choice for architectural and interior elements, building system controls, plumbing and HVAC equipment, mechanical systems and appliances, energy generation, storage, and electrical applications.

Health transparency: One of the biggest hurdles for today’s manufacturers in streamlining the safety of products is gathering data efficiently from suppliers. To improve manufacturers’ abilities to achieve full material disclosure for safer product design, CDA published over 700 copper alloy shared materials within the Toxnot Exchange.

3rd party verified HPDs: Copper is one of the few materials to have products with HPDs verified by a 3rd party. The verification enables users to seek additional points under the recently revised Material Ingredients credits in LEED 4.1.

A portion of the catalog proceeds goes to the National Park Foundation

Note: Expired disclosures can be used in a submittal package if the product was purchased during the validity period.
